Editor's welcome

Since our last issue we have been busy working with the KX partners on a whole host of exciting initiatives, including our first research paper ‘Inspiring Workplace Wellbeing.’

More recently at events across the country, we have been exploring the ‘high performance workplace’ and sharing the evidence from Leesman that shows what the best do differently from the rest.

It’s this theme that we pick up in this latest edition and bring an exclusive interview with international business consultant and speaker Jim Steele on learning to unlock high performance.

We also see the return of a familiar Knowledge Exchange face, Professor Damian Hughes. At our recent Manchester event in July, Damian kept up the spirit of the World Cup (England were still in it at that point!) and shared the findings from his latest book The Barcelona Way, as summarised in the event review.

We are also delighted to welcome Claire Odgers to KX. Claire is Regional Head of Property at Standard Chartered Bank and gives a sector specific viewpoint into the latest workplace trends impacting the financial services industry.

There are various other features including a look into how the new workplace of Kellogg’s is helping the global cereal giant grow. Our objective with the Knowledge Exchange is to promote dialogue and debate between occupiers and specialists from various aspects of the workplace arena. If you would like to get involved in future issues, research or joining the debate at events, we’d love to hear from you.
